SOOP on Saturday: Top 20 popular book ideas for July 25, 2015

We have some “wacky” new book ideas “springing” onto the Top 20 list, for which we are very grateful. Get the hint?

Congrats to those authors who are reaching the voting milestones and enjoying the benefits of great feedback and helpful advice as you trek up the mountain on your publishing journey. Each time you complete the “deliverable” at each step, you receive a benefit, such as an assessment or a webinar on a valuable aspect of your publishing journey. We have more good stuff in store for you each step of the way. Our published authors like our SOOP!

SOOP Dollars – Use ’em or Lose ’em! Dollars-handheld

When we began awarding SOOP Dollars, only the top three authors were eligible (now it’s the top five). The first SOOP Dollars are due to expire October 2015, a year from when they were earned. Our first SOOP Dollar winners were:

  1. Vivek Kumar $50SD
  2. Nicole Collet $25SD
  3. Colton Zacharias $10SD

Turning Votes into Fans

Every successful author needs fans — people dedicated to her and her boofans-book-excitedk, who are more than willing to spread the word about both. In the latter portion of our publishing process, the focus is on acquiring fans, who are much more valuable than a simple vote. A vote gives a book idea writer an email address to which she can send a message telling about the publication of her book eventually. A fan gives an author an evangelist who will spread the word and, perhaps more importantly, the excitement. Read more here.
