#SOOP on Monday: Top 20 Short Stories & Book Ideas for September 11, 2023

This exciting new top 20 presents the last push from the participants of SOOP’s 3rd Annual Short Story Contest.

As the annual short story contest deadline inches closer, we can feel the excitement building up in the air. We know that each of our writers has put their heart and soul into crafting stories as unique as they are compelling.

With just four days left until the qualification deadline on September 15, let’s seize the opportunity to make our mark in storytelling. The good news is they now have two pathways to qualify for the contest, and we want to ensure that every deserving writer has a chance to shine:

Get 50 Votes: Our voting program is designed to celebrate writing prowess and the support of readers and fans. Reaching the milestone of 50 votes is not just about qualification; it’s a testament to the ability to engage and captivate audiences. With four days left, there’s still ample time to see more stories qualified through quick activities like social media sharing and network outreach.

Streamline the Qualification Process: We understand that time is precious, and sometimes you need to fast-track your journey to qualification. That’s where our contest fee option comes in. By paying the contest fee, any writer can streamline the voting process and secure their spot in the contest. This option is perfect for those who want to focus on their writing and not worry about the vote count.

We also like to do our part by offering an exciting incentive to all supporters– free books. Every vote cast for a story enters the voter into a drawing where we select a weekly random winner to choose any book from our hot releases catalog, adding an extra layer of excitement to their participation.

So, dear writers, the clock is ticking, but your potential is boundless. Let’s make these last four days count! Go ahead, take the plunge, and let your stories shine. We can’t wait to see your words weave magic on the pages of this year’s contest:

Work with SOOP

Everyone at SOOP will help you work towards success.

When you submit your Book Idea, you can choose one of two ways to reach your publishing goal: Free or Premium Levels. At each stage of the voting process, SOOP’s Free Level assigns homework, which helps you not only make substantial progress in marketing your work, but also helps you develop the best story possible. SOOP manages your homework in phases and returns your homework on a pass/fail basis.

SOOP’s Premium Level also assigns homework with a required 85% passing grade, ensuring you understand the curriculum before proceeding. In addition to a higher standard for your homework, our panel of experts provides personalized feedback, arming you with more information and allowing you to adjust the course when necessary.
