“Crowned Heart” is a retelling of the classic fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast. The character of Beauty is actually the Beast, this is a gender bend with the female character being important. Cordelia is the main female character that is the antagonist and protagonist of the story. The character of the Beast is not the same either with him this time being the merchant son with a good personality. Rey, he plays an important role with helping Cordelia with self-discovery and finding a support system that is a family for the characters. The bond that the two form though is almost like family, the two becoming close with one another but not really falling in love.
