#SOOP on Monday: Top 20 Short Stories & Book Ideas for January 30, 2023

With high spirits, we begin this week with the most popular short stories and book concepts on SOOP!

Thanks to our interactive voting platform, authors can connect strongly with potential readers, receive invaluable feedback, improve their work, and deliver excellent material to their supporters.

The success of our publishing model increased with the formation of our Annual Short Story Contest, a writing competition offering participants the unique chance to become published authors and win a grand prize of $500 for either a Fiction or non-fiction entry. This competition has led to the creation of remarkable books, including Midwest RoadTrips, Women Write Now, 25 Servings of SOOP, and The Last American Editor.

This year, a new cohort of writers has embraced the challenge, aiming to obtain votes for the chance to land a publishing deal and follow in the footsteps of their forerunners. Voting for any of the stories below will grant followers, readers, and sponsors an opportunity to take home a special prize and play a critical role in our publishing approach!

Please show your support for the top 20 Short Story & Book ideas and join our Weekly Book Giveaway to be rewarded with a new book from our lineup of acclaimed hot new releases.

Publish with SOOP

Everyone at SOOP will help you work towards success.

When you submit a Book Idea, you can choose one of two ways to reach your publishing goal: Free or Premium Levels.

SOOP’s Free Level assigns homework at each stage of the voting process, which helps you make substantial progress in marketing your work and improve the quality of your story. SOOP manages your homework in phases and returns your homework on a pass/fail basis.

SOOP’s Premium Level also assigns homework with a required 85% passing grade, ensuring you understand the curriculum before proceeding. In addition to a higher standard for your homework, our panel of experts provides personalized feedback, arming you with more information and allowing you to adjust the course when necessary.
