Here’s the thing about social media – if a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound?

And that is my somewhat archaic was of making a very simple point: if no one follows you, no one is going to know that you’re posting! It’s like shouting into a deep, dark, empty void along with millions of other people, each hoping for an answer.

So what’s the solution? Easy. Get followers. Not so easy: Getting the followers.

Some people go into the social media marketing world fully equipped with 3,000 adoring friends and family thrilled to buoy them to success. Others do not.

If you’re in the latter category, you’re going to need to do a little more work on the front-end. But you can relax, because it’s not actually difficult. What it might be is time consuming. Here are some articles with tips and tricks to gaining followers on social media. Proceed with enthusiasm.
