This is a story of abuse and finding a way through the abuse in order to gain self-worth in hopes for success in life. The constant struggles involved with raising children alone. Survival through years of tumultuous relationships, learning your role in this process, and doing all that you can to move forward. Dealing with substance abuse, surviving sexual assaults, physical assaults, witnessing suicide attempts, being at the receiving end of nonstop gossip, and then dealing with the death of your abuser who happens to be the father of your children. The aftermath resulting from his death and attempting to reconnect with children who mourn a man who tortured you for years.
