‘The Ten Commandments’ by James Lester Edrozo

The story revolves around Sam, a middle-aged billionaire, and business tycoon that due to his distressing experiences, family loss, and miserable childhood, made him question the existence of good in humanity. Sam became one of the richest men alive in the world but still not sure on what is his real purpose in life. He does not dive in any charitable work or any philanthropic works because he believes that humanity does not deserve even a cent of his wealth. One day an old beggar bumped into him and told him that even if the world he lives in became dystopic, goodness in humanity will eventually bloom and he will resume his faith in God. Sam told the lady that there is no goodness in humanity especially if you presented a tantamount of money. He stated that every person in this world will choose money over all other things. He pointed out that he will prove that money is the most important thing in the world and anyone can be bought by money.
In order for him to prove his statement, he set up a secret television show aiming to find the ten virtues of the “Ten Commandments” namely: Love, Faith, Piousness, Selflessness, Truth, Repose, Patience, Reticence, Purity, and Pacifism.  But the television show’s hidden objective is to prove everyone that no matter what happens, man will choose wealth, his self-protection, and self-indulgent over anything else. He selected ten countries in the world as his main stage and will be the main venue in setting up his television show. The show sets up life-threatening challenges that are connected to a single virtue and will test several anonymous individuals.
