About the Author

Sophie Trist is a Louisiana native and blind from birth. She\\\’s passionate about writing historical fiction and fantasy which explores marginalized communities and perspectives. Sophie is currently a second-year fiction candidate in the University of Arkansas\\\’s MFA program in creative writing. Her work appears in Voyage YA Journal, Life Matters Journal, Spread Second Stories, The Braille Monitor, and now SOOP\\\’s Finest. When not reading or writing, Sophie can be found listening to country music or looking for a dog to play with.
