Purposeful Engagement in Meaningful Work

(2 customer reviews)

I’m excited to be included in Passionately Striving in Why, an inspiring and uplifting anthology featuring the stories of women who found and now live out their purpose. My story is an account of one woman’s journey to realize, release and reclaim her purpose – sometimes helped and often hindered by the gravitational forces of life.

I loved this essay! It was an engaging read, and I could relate to so much of it. Julie is authentic and genuine in her storytelling, and it is a wonderful lesson in staying true to oneself. I highly recommend taking time out of your day to read.

Julie Lynch’s story is a twist on the classic love story formula: Girl finds purpose, Woman loses purpose, Woman gets purpose back. So many of us go on this journey, and so can relate to Julie’s trajectory — especially that long middle period handcuffed to “doing the responsible thing”. Her bravery in staying true to purpose is an inspiration.
