This is a story based on the Crimean War, set in 1850’s England. The story is about a journalist whose girlfriend, who is a nurse, goes to the war. We see how this journalist wants to do the right thing, but how sometimes it is very tiring to be a true hero, especially seeing the suffering of the soldiers who survived a war. We don’t see a hero, we see a person who does what he thinks is right.
