‘Sumeya – the young prince.’ By Marshall Makhubo

Sumeya the prince feels like he is not ready to take over his father`s throne as the King of the jungle and the king of the tribe.

In the journey King Sixolise teaches Sumeya about unity and gender equality. King Sixolise from the lion pride has allowed other different cats to be part of his tribe.

A heavy storm separates King Sixolise and Prince Sumeya, making Sumeya responsible for taking care of the other animals meanwhile in a scandal with hyena`s.

In the journey of getting to Dundee, Prince Sumeya is supported by a friend (Liyakhanya) who encourages and motivates him to do what is best for his tribe.
