The outdoor world helps us to remember what we as people hold within us, because we too are nature. This story shares my own emotional reaction when arriving at my favorite trail, recently ravaged by wildfire. It shares what lessons can be learned and how perspective can shift around tragedy when the mind opens to curiosity. It continues sharing what another person learns from spending time outdoors in nature as well as a mindfulness practice for shifting perspective when connecting with nature beings and engaging with the land. Be prepared to remember a kinship with the outdoor world.
