‘Memory’s Mist’ By JT Welch

This story is a tear-jerker set in a Renaissance-style village. It begins with the main character having lost his memory and searching for clues as to who he is and where he came from. Nearby villagers find him and take him prisoner as a precaution, untrusting of his claim to loss of memory, so that in addition to rediscovering who he is, he must also convince them in order to survive.
