‘Long Lost Sisters’ By Nancy Jane

Who dreams of finding out about a sister they never knew existed forty-six years after she was born? I never in my 53 years would have imagined it, yet it happened….

It happened when my 32-year-old daughter got her DNA results back and matched with a 46-year-old woman who lives in the same small Midwest town I was born in and lived in for the first seven years of my life.

The journey over the last five months of connecting and getting to know Mandy has been healing in many ways. We hope this story can be used to motivate others to reach out and connect with long lost relatives, or maybe even submit their DNA!
