Duvvie, a gay man experiencing homelessness is forced to prostitute himself for drug money that allows him to have peace for a minute from the endless, un-remitting grief for his beloved partner who died before AIDs even really has a name. In the end, Duvvie’s prayers are answered and one of his pills was bad; and his soul was free from the world.
