‘Access’ By Amy Hornsby

The narrator, an unnamed teenage girl, watches her mother become addicted to a new technology released to the public, which allows memories to be sold and exchanged. The more she ‘accesses’, the more she slips away from reality. We go on a journey with the narrator, watching the breakdown of their relationship as her mother slowly lose her memories and her mind.
