‘A Way With Words’ by Jess Jube

A young introverted girl is at her local book store on a Friday night. She isn’t much for dating as she’s had her fair share of bad tinder dates. So, she finds herself in the romance section every other week. Terribly embarrassed to have found herself in the erotic section, she tries to hurry so she can go unoticed, but there’s no escaping her beauty. Book in hand, she’s almost about to cash out when she’s stopped by a voice of a man. A man with soft features and a smile so infectious you can’t help but to stare says “ I heard he’s a real jerk” with a half smile. Embarrassed she’s been noticed, she looks down at her book and reads the authors name. “ Declan Allen” she mummbles. “ I’ve actually never read one of his novels before”. She opens the book to the section about the author, looks down, and looks up again. If she wasn’t embarrassed before, she is now. The author himself, standing right before her. She had never seen a specimen so handsome and warm. As she’s about to walk away he asked her if she had plans tonight. She’s replies and says “ I have plans actually”. Him being persistent says “ yeah, what?”. Her being witty replies “ going home to master bate to your book.” A smile shot up on his face ear to ear. He thought to himself with excitement “ who is this women”
