‘Fallen for a God’s Girl’ by Eden Inaudito

“You’re the reason of my misery, I wish I didn’t brought you out in this world. I wish I listened to my friends that I should have aborted you, but I thought if I keep you, your father might come back for you but he don’t. He can’t accept the son borne with a prostitute mother. He will of course choose his child in his legal wife.”He heard his mother laugh bitterly.

That’s his mother’s voice ranting in anguish and hurt. She locked herself up in her room that he can’t comfort her even he wanted to. Despite the fact that his own mother didn’t love him, he loves her. He’s only six years old but he’s a human, he has feelings, and what he heard from his mother’s mouth penetrated through the very core of his heart and his soul. It slices every fiber of his flesh. Feeling unwanted. Unloved. Abandoned.

He never seen his mother’s face anymore. She took her own life on that day. He cried for his lost. Though she was an evil mother as what other mother’s labeled her, she’s still his mother. Every time his mother whipped him with her buckled belt that left bruises and wounds in his young and tender flesh, he still tried to understand her. He kept in mind that he is the reason of her unhappiness so he took all the blame.

That was many years ago. Now he is different.
