A soldier returns home early from a deployment in Afghanistan and heads home to surprise his parents. He stops by his grandmother’s on the way for a brief visit. She sends him on his way with fresh baked cookies and her love. Once he surprised his parents, he is shocked to learn that his grandmother passed away several weeks ago. They didn’t want to tell him this far into his tour. However, he can still smell his grandmother’s perfume and the fresh baked cookies are still warm.
