In this short story, I share my process of pain and grief after a sudden and unexpected loss of a job, and how this very experience represented the key for a more meaningful and rewarding career and life.

About the Author

Flavia Wahnfried is a Career Strategist who is focused on helping leaders and individuals across the globe to find more meaning and fulfilment in their careers and lives. Currently she is on a mission to help professional women uncover their real identity and purpose after losing a job.

Having developed her career in designing and delivering high-complexity leadership assessment, people engagement, talent attraction & retention and executive search projects over the last 20 years, she found her passion in the coaching business a few years ago and has, since then, been working with executives and entrepreneurs from a great variety of countries such as USA, India, England, Romania, Germany, China, Netherlands, Portugal and Brazil.

Flavia is a Certified Professional Coach from the University of Cambridge (Association for Coaching accredited) and Instituto Ecosocial (ICF accredited). She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in São Paulo. She is a native speaker of Portuguese, fluent in German and English and with an intermediate level of Spanish.
