Anthologies from Something Or Other Publishing have been increasingly successful, garnering excellent reviews and critical acclaim. Like most young adults in today’s world, Anna is living away from her family far across the country to create a bright future for herself. But it isn’t long till she begins to feels heavily burdened by the weight of expectations and believes that she is living a life not meant for her.
Soon these impending thoughts drive her to only one solution: end her life. But just before she could do so, she meets with a life changing incident, one that changes her whole perspective and the way she views life itself.
About the Author
Sameen Azmat is from Pakistan, a small country in South Asia.
Sameen is a student of medicine and near the end of her medical school studies. Becoming a part of the world of medicine has been her life goal for as long as she can remember, and she has worked very hard to get where she is today. But to become part of a book is one thing she never imagined. It’s more than a dream come true. To Sameen, writing is what life is to the soul. She started writing at a very young age, and it was nothing more than short stories, poems, and songs. English is not her mother tongue, but it has been her language of comfort whenever she sits down to write. \\\\\\\’Between Life and Death\\\\\\\’ is a work of fiction and written with no intention to reach where it is today. It was just a mere attempt to participate in a contest for the first time. She hopes that everyone who reads it loves it and keeps the message she wanted to deliver safe in their minds. This story has
been a great motivation for her to do what she loves more often–to write!Â
