There is a book that contains God’s written plan for the world, but only the keeper of the book can read it. The book fell into Jensen’s hands when he was a boy during World War I, passed on to him by a dying, unnamed soldier. As Jensen grows, he begins to realize the weight of being the book’s keeper – and the threat of the dangerous forces that would claim the book for their own purposes if they can.
