To understand the battle, we need to begin with acknowledging that we are in a war. Not just any war. God has told us that “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”. We live our lives daily in this realm mostly oblivious to the other realms around us and what is going on in them. They affect us and yet we do very little to let them know that we are aware of their existence and that we refuse to continue allowing them to wreak havoc in our minds and our homes. Roman is just one man in the middle of this battle, dealing with alcohol, pornography, temptation, and the pressures of being the Bishop’s son. On top of all that, his mother is dying of lupus. Roman wants to be a successful writer, marry a good woman who truly loves him, and just be happy. He has an awesome support system but continues finding himself going to dark places in his mind. What will he do? Can he hold out and keep his word to God? Is the narrow path right for him? Well, let’s find out!
