‘The Spook House’ By David Lutes

Based on actual events in the author’s pre-teen life in the small village of Trumansburg, NY, this is a spooky, around the campfire story about a suspected haunted house, with eerie ‘goings on’ for over 100 years. Many have seen the boy in the window – his terror-filled face, holding a candle – beckoning for others to join him – maybe rescue him. Four 12-year-olds just had to find out what was true; to expose or confirm the truth. They had to see for themselves. More than a boy in the window was calling them – and the house is still there, still empty, still beckoning.
