After losing her father, twenty-six-year-old Astrid is left with a Pawn Shop in London, England. The Shiny Ones that visited her as a child return to guide her. She desperately wants to get away from the weather and sadness of London.
She sells a stolen purse to finance her trip to the Caribbean. While she is away the Pawn Shop burns down. A detective looking for the stolen goods enters her life and Astrid is determined to use her connection with the Shiny Ones to help him. Astrid wants to return all the lost and stolen children…
