‘The Marine and The Girl’ By KV Foster

Based on a true story. A young girl full of dreams tries to get through life amidst war and the Sunni regime. With the arrival of the Americans, there is hope of a future for her and her friends, but war is full of tragedy. From his perspective, a Marine from the heartland comes to find out the truth of the war and the brutality of his enemy. This is an rendition of a real event in the midst of the Afghanistan war when one Marine finally understood what they were fighting for.
