My story is about a young women named Bella Niadoo aged 26 that keeps reflecting on her past to deal with the rejection of her fiance’s family. She is an Indian women who marries into a white family and has to win over their hearts because it was important for her husband. There is racial tension and the fact that she is much younger than him. At first all goes well until her Sister in-law starts to make her life a living hell because of jealousy. Bella hits rock bottom but then decides to finally step for herself and defend herself. The man she loved loved her, she no longer needed to feel belonged and or needed their approval. Her past reflections has brought her to a new found realization that life was to short to please everyone and sweep her heartache under the rug.
