‘The house on Old Plank Road’ By Melissa Jones

Ada had known for years that she saw the world differently from others. Everything was more vivid and alive. As if descriptive words had a heartbeat and she felt them pulsating throughout her body. She saw things noone else did and she accepted it, at least she thought she had, until moving in to the house on Old Plank Road.
