Fennali Restansi has been in love with her best friend, Wysteria Morningsong for years. Hoping to finally reveal the truth of her heart, Fennali invites her friend to investigate an ancient, abandoned mansion belonging to a man known as Kadarr of the Nightwhisper, a long-gone organization steeped in mystery. Upon entering the house, Wysteria sees that Kadarr has conjured magical servants, and Fennali fears that she made a mistake by bringing her altruistic friend to a place with such a powerful secret. They search through the manse for a key to this secret, but to no avail. Fennali doesn’t want to let the night go to waste, so she decides to find water for some tea and prepare a simple, and hopefully, romantic meal where she can spill the necessary truths. While she is outside, however, a burst of magical energy sparks an inferno within the old mansion, and Fennali must save the life of her beloved Wysteria or she’ll never be able to forgive herself. Wysteria is saved, and in a desperate throw, Fennali reveals the full brunt of her emotions, which are thankfully accepted and reciprocated by Wysteria.
