The story is a metaphoric account of a new artist facing the demons that cause him/her to create. The demon exists in the form of an old woman who lives upstairs, who seems to be torturing someone and causing a racket in the process. The protagonist works up the courage to face the woman and save the day and ultimately comes to an understanding that he wasn’t originally looking for.
