Waking up in a meadow with no recollection of how you got there and seeing the moon in mid-explosion probably sets off a few alarms in your head, right? That’s what happens to 15-year-old Kayli and her best friend, Brandi. They find themselves in a creepy wasteland and are immediately met by a woman claiming to be their mother who tells them they are needed by a man named the Controller in his fortress. Kayli and Brandi must figure out exactly where they are and why this elusive man named the Controller needs them before they get killed- again.
