‘Once Upon a Pink Balloon’ By Laura M. Harper

A child finds that she must grow up quickly in order to protect someone she loves from the horror of opioid addiction and the clutches of an abusive relationship, all the while trying to figure out exactly where her place and purpose in this world truly lies.
