‘Nine-Thirty’ By Beatrice

Hearing one’s death sentence should not be a cause of joy, but for Amaka, she wonders if it is the freedom she craves that has finally been given to her.
After a violent assault on her by two Policemen, Amaka slowly descends into insanity and eventually takes the law into her own hands.
This is a story about actions and consequences, and how sometimes, even the most violent of killers, has a backstory.
