‘Loreley’ By Gene Baker

Michael Bennett had a major problem on his hands. Public speculation about the cause of his wife’s comatose condition has seriously cut into his business opportunities. So when he was contacted by Loreley Sparks with an offer of the prime riverside acreage she had shared with her deceased husband he jumped at the opportunity.
With ideas of turning the isolated property into a waterfront gated community with an easy commute to Houston, he went to meet the widow. He was unaware, until it was too late, that his greed had taken him into a terrifying, supernatural realm. A place where reality could be warped by a powerful and vengeful spirit bent on his tortured destruction. He becomes trapped in a nightmare where every hope of escape ends on the edge of a razor-sharp knife.
