‘Last Kiss ‘ By Jacqueline Mackenzie

This flash fiction piece is a cautionary tale against drinking and driving. I used the song Last Kiss, most famously covered by Pearl Jam to mirror the horror the character has to relive every year after losing the love of his life. The short punch to the gut flash is meant to carry the impact and send the message of loss, grief, and PTSD while keeping the elements of driving safely at the forefront.
