A story set in 1967 about a 17 year old girl who becomes pregnant after her first sexual experience. The woman doesn’t tell her mother who is a devout Catholic because she believes she will be sent away.
Her boyfriend gets money from his father for an abortion over the border into Mexico. With help from a nurse neighbor, an appointment is set in a clinic in Jalexico.
