A sci-fi short story. When Debra’s car breaks down she witnesses an explosion in the distance whilst stuck in the middle of nowhere. She is, later, approached by a stranger named Jack who tells her he is also stranded in the middle of nowhere. Debra is intrigued by his unusual strength and manner. She gives in to her cautiousness by letting him help her. He manages to mysteriously fix her car and from there, her curiosity takes over as she finds herself wanting to know more about Jack.
