‘Eclectic Eclipse’ By Shee Ra

A 14 year old girl who is rapidly approaching her breaking point, flights when she can no longer fight. Her fight started when she was too young to know that she was facing demons that would haunt her for the better part of her life.

She was inducted into MENSA when she won the state science fair four years in a row. Because of her genius aptitude, noONE was the wiser of the pernicious acts that three male family members and one woman, all separately, were inflicting upon her.

Her escape is the college campus library where she fanatically reads. She finds comfortable hidden spaces in the stacks, her safeplace.

In the stacks, her pain and suffering is eclipsed by bombarding information and solitude.

The revelation of how she began to dissociate starts as a renowned psychologist discovers her in a mental health complex.
