‘Descending the Food Chain’ By Lee Robert Rohe

In the Florida Keys, two teenagers set out to capture a legendary giant crocodile known as Methuselah. The owner of a serpentarium in Miami has offered the boys $5,000 for the delivery of Methuselah alive. Roy and Gene devise an elaborate plan using a pickup truck, netting, and rope to drag Methuselah out of his lair and hoist him into the truck. The capture requires close teamwork. But one small mistake results in the entrapment of both boys in Methuselah’s habitat.
