‘Broken soul’ By Fortunate Ighodalo

Rita lives with her parents in a small town at the outskirts of Ibadan. Her peaceful life is shattered one night when a group of robbers visited their home and killed her parents in cold blood.
She relocated to Lagos were she lives with her uncle.She won a scholarship to the prestigious Fortune’s college were she is well known for her intellect and writing skills. She won several awards which has earn her the love and respectof most teachers in theschool.
Unfortunately,her life was stolen when Mr Patrick her uncle devise a means to torment her,he rapes her continuously on a regular basis. Her fears deprive her the ability to voice out.
Mental illness and stress drove Rita to thrown herself in front of a moving car. Despite multiple injuries,she drew on a renewed will to live,through the help of her friends,she has battled her demons and has made remarkable recovery. Now her dreams is to work as a therapist with deepened insight into trauma.
