Hello,
I have a Nonprofit named Chhaupadi. Chhaupadi is the Hindi practice of shunning women/girls when they are on their period. They are not allowed to touch family members, eat the same food, or stay in the family home. They are banished to a shed outside for 7-10 days as they are considered impure. We would like to write an educational children’s book about periods to show young girls that having a period is okay and normal.
