It’s about a supernatural being(a woman) who was once human and was betrayed due to her feminine state. This turned her into a demon who was only seen by people who were guilty of hurting women or betraying women where they weren’t supposed to.
She has her “pets” ( creatures who look like dementors) who feed on her guilty prey after they die mysteriously…..she then pops by and sucks their souls …usually dark souls.
She can also possess people so that they can do her bidding and haunt anyone she wants until they go crazy with fear.
The book is mainly about these characters whose lives changed because of her killings and Even Though the characters have agendas of their own, They don’t know that she’s a real thing and think that the killings are just another freaky case.
