‘The Girl Beyond the Bottom of the Well’ by RS Rutherford

When one hit wonder Lyal Wynn, whose hits were a bit of a miss lately, is leaving a book signing, driving through the middle of nowhere, the unbelievable happens when his car breaks down near an old well. Losing balance, and falling deep into the well, so deep he kept falling, right through the bottom. Falling faster through the sky, to the ground below, a panicked, confused Wynn closes his eyes and resigns himself to his imminent fate. Only to open them moments later, safely on the ground below, staring up at the well high above. He stands, taking in his surroundings, when out of thin air, a girl appears, a beautiful girl in a beautiful gown, and with a big smile on her face says “What took you so long?, now hurry up and come along, you’re going to save the world!” What happens when an Authors reality becomes anything but? Wynn must fight monsters, rescue the damsels and save this world from destruction. All while trying to determine if this fantasy is reality or if he has finally lost his mind. It would seem fate has other plans in store for Wynn, and The Girl Beyond the Bottom of the Well.
