‘Death Bringer’ by Alan Wilson

This book is literally in the embryo stage. Just curious on feedback for the initial thoughts before even considering attempting this. The book would be written in a first person perspective of a demon that has been a mercenary for hire for over a thousand years. He doesn’t kill for the money or the rush though, he kills because he enjoys it. After being alive for so long, killing is all that brings joy to his life, but even that is getting old. Then, you get to the cliched story of him coming across a strong-willed woman that ultimately starts to bring back joy and give him a reason to live again. You think it is going to be a Beauty and the Beast kind of story until she kills him.
