‘Countdown to Pharmageddon’ by Jessica Robinson

Do you assume that if the FDA has approved an item for consumption that it is good because they have your best interest in mind? Are you willing to trust a complete stranger to the health and well being for yourself or your family? Do you feel the issue is too big and, rather than question, you just give up?

Our world is at a tipping point. We eat foods we aren’t meant to eat because it’s convenient, it fills a temporary need, or we just WANT it. Those foods, in turn, make us sick so we go to the doctor. The doctor gives us a prescription to make us feel better. The prescription has a side effect so we go back to the doctor to get another prescription, and another, and another. What if we could break the cycle? What if the issue really isn’t that big? Would you make the change?
