This is a coming of age story of a young boy, aged 15 who is working with a traveling carnival as a magician. He’s not some real magician but a card and other illusion performer. On a night in town watching other magician, he watches a magic show that blows his mind. Theres absolutely no way that no one could do the magic that he saw. The boy Elias becomes the magician he saw’s apprentice and turns out, the magician is a real magician. And so Elias and his master embark on a quest to find magic for Elias to have because in their world, no one is chose with magic. It is not something that is decided and given through your birth. The boy will experience strange experiences and will begin to question the very meaning of what being born is, the true meaning and experience of life. He will ultimately have to make a choice. Will the magic he get be stolen or given to him as a gift? Will Elias even achieve his goal?
