‘Rest in Power: May Their Memories Be a Revolution’ By Christian Lee

Vision:

I’d like to create a book highlighting the lives and impact of American civil rights icons such as John Lewis and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. 2020 has taken a lot from us, but let’s ensure that our dearly departed’s memories are a revolution. Let’s ensure that they rest in eternal power as their lives inspire us to “never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in trouble, necessary trouble”. – John Lewis

Length of Stories:

4,000 words

Personal Contribution:

I’d like to contribute a piece honoring the life and legacy of John Lewis. Note that “doubling up” on a topic is perfectly fine. The icons intended to be honored in this book touched many, many lives, and every perspective is unique, valued, and valid. Please feel free to share your thoughts no matter how many people have shared theirs on a topic!
