Vision:
“From Both Sides Now,” is a proposed double-sided anthology that draws on the central themes of queerness and LGBT identity. The anthology is divided into two distinct sections and shares accounts of life before and after coming out. The ultimate goal of the collection is to find the middle ground and connection between both sides and dissect the common issues that can be found. The anthology hopes to curate real accounts from queer men and present a non-glamorized portrayal of the community. The works contained represent a collection of intelligence, thought-provoking exploration, and creative interrogation, in which it credits the thinkers and writers, contained within. Each piece within this anthology is meant to inspire, educate, and advocate for different ways of life and philosophies within the LGBT community. Presenting these pieces and showing the representation of life on “both sides,” can we grow together and continue to grow within the safe space created within the anthology.
Length of Stories:
This anthology will feature contributions up to 4,000 words in length.
