The Biggest News This Week

Congratulations to Wade Fransson author of The Rod of Iron, whose Book Idea moved from 3rd to 2nd this week. He edged out Red by Nicole Collet by just a few points. A Dress the Color of the Sky by Jennifer Irwin continues to hold the first position for the second month in a row. The top five spots have seen a lot of change in the last few weeks! Further down the list, but steadily working their way up is The Lottery Curse by Carey Azzara, which jumped two other book ideas to earn the 7th spot.

You may notice that there were some other changes further down the list. The Time-Walker Chronicles: Jason Brightday and the Lords of Eh’den by Paul Long was removed from the Top 20 list because it is already published, elsewhere. This means that Auld Folks by Keely Greenfield rejoins the list this week in the 20th spot.

Don’t Forget What SOOP Can Do For You

In January, SOOP rolled out the their new paid and free paths to success. In case you missed those announcements, here’s a quick summary. The free path offers the many of the same helpful services, including homework at each stage of the voting process that helps you, the author, create substantial marketing progress and develop the best book possible. These homework assignments are returned on a pass/fail basis. The paid path, the Professional Path, offers the unique benefits of a percentage grading system, which gives the author a more complete idea of their direction.

FAQ of the day: How do I get started with SOOP?

  1. Read about our publishing model and our other FAQ answers.
