PATRICK VALDEZ, dresses as a female cosplayer, attended a local convention. He’s approached by JAY MARCEL, a cosplayer who wears masks and is infatuated with Patrick. Patrick is annoyed that Jay wasn’t giving the space he asked for and snaps at him. Jay tries to make Patrick understand but is shut down by Patrick who storms off. ADAM POTTER, moves into his new building he purchased for his detective business and apartment. While looking for a screen for his bathroom window he sees Patrick in the bathroom in the building next door looking in a mirror fixing his hair and clothes. Adam gets caught peeping by Patrick who waves at him. The next morning Adam meets JUSTIN SHI, a nineteen college student with no work experience, but Adam learns he’s good at research and hires him. GAVIN MARTIN, a childhood friend of Patrick’s. Gavin is in need of money and starts a relationship with Patrick. Gavin started to show a darker violent side towards Patrick. Gavin swayed Patrick to go have sex in a graveyard. During their intercourse, on top of a grave stone, Gavin is murdered by someone wearing a HARLEQUIN mask, who chases Patrick into a tree. Adam drives by the graveyard and sees Patrick in trouble, he chases the Harlequin but loses him.
